How To Create A Wifi Hotspot On Windows 10 - Actually in Windows 10 we have provided a special menu to create a WiFi hotspot, namely through the Settings menu > Network & Internet > Mobile Hotspot. However, according to Lagi Zaman, this menu often has errors and cannot be used. So for the admins themselves to make a WiFi hotspot easier by using third-party programs such as OSToto Hotspot.

To be able to create a WiFi hotspot, we need an internet network source to share via WiFi hotspot. The source can come from a LAN network or a USB modem. For example, here Admin uses a USB modem.

Here are the steps to create a WiFi hotspot on Windows 10:

  • Open the Settings menu > Network & Internet > Dial-up
  • Click the Set up new connection menu
  • Click Connect to the Internet
  • Click Next
  • Click Dial-up
  • Fill in your ISP information data according to the service provider's instructions and check the Allow other people to use this connection option then click Connect.
  • After connecting, click Close

Then return to the Settings menu > Network & Internet > Dial-up

  • Click Change this adapter options
  • Right-click on the USB modem that you created earlier and select Properties
  • Click the Sharing tab
  • Check the Allow other network users option.
  • On Home networking connection: select Wi-Fi then click OK 2 times

Go back to the Settings menu > Network & Internet > Dial-up, on your USB modem menu click Disconnect, wait a moment and then click Connect again and then Dial so you can connect to the internet.

Then download and install the OSToto Hotspot program on your Windows 10. Fill in your hotspot name and password. The number of passwords is a minimum of 8 digits and a maximum of 13 digits, then click Start up. Wait a moment then your WiFi hotspot is ready and ready to use.
